I have been grooming for over sixteen year and I built my first successful grooming business and grooming academy. Where we strive to ensure to keep all cats and dogs as safe as possible. I created a new brand Ayrshire Grooming Salon Ltd to which we now teach a variety of qualification to include City and Guild level two and three Dog Grooming qualifications. I’m also involved with the SSPCA as a foster carer, and I also assist with some grooming of their special cases. I am a member of British Isles Dog Grooming Association as a mentor and a founding member of the Animal Focused Alliance which is created to support pet businesses and putting animal welfare first with the most current information.
I have also featured a few times on the BBC to include the documentary “My kind of Town” and a few feature on the BBC news. We pride ourselves in giving our learner’s Canine and Felines the best experience and knowledge, where we put the welfare of pets in our care to the forefront. We are a brand ambassador for some amazing salon products Ivan St Bernard, where we keep up to date with the new product range and education for fellow groomers by attending seminars and trade stands. I have also written and featured in the educational Total Grooming Magazine.
Over the years, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and qualifications which include:City and Guilds level three diploma for dog grooming stylists.City and Guilds certificate pre styling and coat preparation.City and Guild Cat grooming Certificate.Level Three award in education and (RQF)Level three canine first aidKennel club hands on assessment movement and confirmation in dogs.Level three certificate in assessing vocational achievement. I’ve been grooming for around 3 years. I completed my City and Guilds level 2 and 3 training at Ayrshire Grooming Salon and was very lucky to be offered a job here with Pam. I particularly enjoy working with anxious dogs and helping them overcome their fear of grooming and forming a strong bond I compete in dog grooming competitions, particularly in Gun dog handstrip, and a more creative Asian Fusion style, going to these competitions gives me a chance to speak with other groomers and learn from them.
I’m passionate about continuing education within the Pet grooming industry, and attend seminars whenever possible, whether it be online or in person. I grew up around dogs, and love all breeds. I have a Jack Russell of my own, so there is a special place in my heart for the small but mighty terriers.

I’ve been grooming for around 4 years now, and started out here at Ayrshire Grooming Salon, completing my Level 2 and 3 City and Guilds diploma in dog grooming. When I was still a student I won the Pet Industry Federation award for Student of the year in 2022. I love grooming cats, and find these days most relaxing. I am constantly trying to learn more and improve my knowledge in the industry, to ensure I have the most up to date learning available to look after all your furry friends. When I’m not grooming, you’ll find me running the front desk, completing appointments and staying on top of the day to day running of the Salon. I have 2 cockapoos and a toy poodle at home, who take up a lot of my time, as well as my much loved cat.
"Definitely Recommend"
Really lovely lady that cut my grans dogs nails no one else has been able to get them cut as she is very nervous as she is so small because she is a chihuahua but here they were cut within two minutes and everything went smoothly couldn’t thank them enough definitely recommend them.

"Always Look Fabulous"
Luna always looks fabulous when she has been groomed. Pam is so friendly and good with Luna. They know how I like her groomed and know her cheeky personality.

"Extremely Happy"
We have been using Pam for many years to groom our bichon frise dog, Alfie and have always been extremely happy with the way she grooms him. Pam went above and beyond recently when we got married last week and collected Alfie on the morning of the wedding for a pamper session before bringing him along for some photographs.
